Estonian Academy of Arts
The Estonian Academy of arts is the only public school providing higher education in fine arts, design, architecture, media, visual studies, art culture, and conservation.
They offer both (BA) and (MA) degrees and those courses include things like scriptwriting, editing, sound recording, screen graphics, illustration and animation.
In the bachelors degree they spilt it into speciality study and general study and it is a 3 year course. The (MA) course is 2 years.
The EAA is striving to become a leading international centre of innovation in the field of visual culture. Currently there are more than 1,200 students enrolled in the Academy, with many participating in exchange programmes at international partner universities. It collaborates with more than a hundred universities worldwide and belongs to several international higher education networks. The school teaches in English.
The school does work with the ERASMUS programme. The exchange students from our partner universities are not obliged to pay tuition fees for their studies. However, the students who apply to the Estonian Academy of Arts from the universities which are not our partner institutions, are requested to pay tuition fees according to the cost of a credit point at the EAA, which remains between €64 and €128.
